Posted to Ask DN: Is OS X Yosemite good for actual work yet?, Sep 26, 2014 Yosemite is great and awesome... But MATLAB and Mathematica currently do not run... This is an issue only if you also happen to be an engineering college student. Aside from this I have no issues with it. :D

I don't own my own fancy camera(just a small canon point and shoot) but since I'm a photographer for my university newspaper, I get to borrow their equipment. My favorite setup is a Nikon D700/800, with either a 35mm lens, or a 70-200mm lense since I usually do sport photography or photos on a more personal distance. I have also had the chance to use a Nikon D300, which is pretty good and more efficient.
