Cooking. I have some favorite recipes that I 'iterate' on frequently. Also going outside and just being in nature. I work in the city and live in the city so seeing more trees and less concrete for a day usually does the trick.

Great response - falls in line with a lot of my own thinking at the moment (I'm 34 and starting to think about this topic a lot). Pardon my ignorance though - what does "IC" stand for in your second paragraph? Individual contributor?

This. I definitely started a couple roles in my career that I didn't like after the first week. But I say it's worth it to stick around for at least 6mo to a year mainly because you might create some really amazing relationships. Working with awesome people can make a lot of the other shit seem way less important.

This is really hard to look at / read during the day on glare-heavy screens.

Also, your Resources page is really long - would be nice to get a snapshot of the sections in the header or be able to navigate to them without scrolling through the entire list.

Remind me when iOS is an actual worthy laptop replacement, and I'll care :)

This. I imagine the debate has been going on for decades as I distinctly remember when I started my career in the early 2000s, we were all debating "but is it art?" regarding Joshua Davis' or David Carson's work.

Yes, the sections (like STYLE or APPEARANCE) hide randomly as you work. I honestly can't figure out the logic behind it... but I'll be working with a text layer, then I'll switch to editing the STYLE of a shape, back to text, and finally back to the shape and the STYPE panel has been magically minimized.

    It's incredibly annoying.

Very dependent on user analytics data, but generally speaking, 1200px width is my baseline, with a post-1200 breakpoint to optimize for large displays.

Three things I love: 1) checkboxes/radios for checking off my grocery list notes. 2) Assigning colors to my notes for categorization/organization. 3) Ability to pin notes to the top (I do this with my weird WiFi password, for example).

One thing I don't love: Auto-sorting my notes by date modified.
