    I'd say using Squarespace to promote your UI/UX agency isn't a good start.

      Duly noted. Tried doing it from scratch, took me 6+ years and still no end in sight, LOL. As a designer, building your own portfolio is the hardest thing to do because you're your own client.

      I just needed a platform to showcase the work as quick as possible. So I took the "done is better than perfect" route. Hopefully one fine day I'll deliver the custom site : )

        I know exactly what you mean. The difference is that you promote it as an agency instead of as a portfolio which is a place to show off your work. I got my portfolio set up on Squarespace using that exact theme for the same reason, but it's more important for an Agency to have a custom, original 'Home'.
