simple implementation of a useful feature. whats not to love.
This was the one feature that made me think about switching from Sketch to Framer X. I guess now I know where to switch to. Love it.
Do it. You'll love that you just need one app for design, prototyping and dev hand off.
Although this looks excellent, I disagree with this statement "without needing to learn any special new tools"
Look at 3D design software, there are so many tools for moving and spacing objects and it's extremely intuitive when you L E A R N them.
Not sure why we're so terrified of 2D designers relearning some things for the greater good. 2D tools have been dumbed down for too long.
100% - if tools that create new models that level up the speed and competency of UI and UX designers, we shouldn't be restricting ourselves to the current model of draw-vectors-on-a-screen.
I think it's time I made the switch. Great update, thanks!
Was confused what's this new feature but once I click and play around, I get the purpose of it. Definitely huge time saver!!
When I read the article I was like "meh I guess thats neat." But I was wrong. This thing is already being used heavily in my flows.. Thanks for the add on guys!! Please keep up the awesome work!
Agreed. I wasn't sure what to make of the feature at first, but after using it for a day, it's proven way more powerful and cooler than I expected. Kudos to Figma for how they implemented this feature.
Sketch needs to step up their game. We're still pushing pixels over here :)) (without Anima & Paddy)
Our team switched to figma about a month ago and we're loving the quick releases of new and very helpful features.
I have been waiting for a feature like this for couple of years. So far I'm hacking something similar in Sketch with Anima and Paddy. Thanks Figma <3
Very excited to use this.
