Hourly landing page (hourly-app.com)

I find this incredibly hard to read.
Agreed, it’s just too much
I appreciate the effort that has clearly gone into this - a lot of attention to detail has gone into the typography, and I really dig the minimal colour-themed phone imagery.
I just don't feel that the design works particularly well for the product, but it might strike a chord with the target market you're aiming for even though I don't like it myself. To me the site screams 'font download' more than 'timer app'.
Good job none the less - it's certainly a different style to most app landing pages!
I appreciate all the HTML comments. We should do that more.
Fuck, this is cool, visually. Good to see people experimenting with landing pages like this!
how come the font is different for the H1-1H animation
Brutal! Hah, it sure stands out!
Not from my own website though, I find them similar. :P
I find your site difficult to read in some spots. Lightweight red and gray text on a dark background doesn't provide enough contrast.
I love this design, It's fantastic and breaks the mold of what's expected and accepted. The landing page absolutely fits the aesthetic that the app is designed in.
If you take some time to play around with the landing page you'll notice lots of great details. Such as the animated text actually animates differently depending on your browser width. 4 or 5 different animations.
Very cool! Looks so simple and clean.
It's a great design, but not a great landing page design. It feels like I'm reading through a Medium article.
Looks cool. But why track hours? Selling hours is probably the quickest way to limit the money you can make selling a specialized skill. It eliminates the built in value of the expertise people hire you for. I don't get why that's not completely obvious.
So, I freelance, and I give out fixed bids, and I ALWAYS track my hours. It helps to gauge how much time I actually take to do things so that I can make better estimates.
If you're focused on typography, you should pay more attention to typos, in my opinion.
"if you was always curious about how much time you spend on books, use hourly"
Again, this isn't my design.
I’ve shared my opinion on the work.
If anyone is asking specific questions about this, I just posted the link, I didn't design it.
interesting! have you watched or worked on the intro type animations for „Strokes Of Genius“? ;)
I'm into it. Downloaded.
Wonder if this could help apply deep work principles.
Feels forced, ill give it a shot.
this ain't it chief
