Why is it so hard to format bullet points in Sketch?

Every time I add bullet points to a paragraph of text in Sketch I can never seem to be able to format the bullet points, such as the padding/indentation/size of the bullets. Its quite a basic requirement and something I need to do quite often.

Does anyone have any tips for formatting bullet points in Sketch?

    Yeah, I found this being a serious problem in Sketch so I ended up making a symbol with the style I wanted and then repeated it.

    It is a manual process but it gives a better control of padding and sizes.
