Looking for tips on remote UX testing recruitment
over 5 years ago from Charlie McCulloch, Product Design Lead at Much Better Adventures
I'm having trouble getting people to actually show up for UX testing sessions. These are people who have taken the time to opt in and choose a slot for themselves. Out of 5 this week I've had 3 no-shows.
Here's my process: - an intercom message goes out to the segment I want to talk to, offering them a £25 discount code in exchange for taking part in a 30-45 minute session over google hangout - they follow the link then choose a pre-defined appointment slot on my calendar - If they choose a slot, I accept the invite on my end - I send an email asking them to confirm availability
Result: less than 50% show up
Anybody got a process that seems to work better?
