Too bad this only works in Chrome: https://caniuse.com/#search=svg%20path But Snap SVG or Greensock will allow the same effect for use in multiple browsers

  It works pretty well on modern browsers. I think you got a bit confused with animate element and CSS offset-path property. Check here for more

    Not really, at least not yet - Firefox/Edge/Safari don't support this right now.

        Doesn't seem to work for me, although I'm testing in Browserstack so maybe that's it.
