Thanks to this practices I hope it's the beginning of the end of Dribbble.

Not sure how I feel about this... It seems a little bit weird but I can't put my finger on why it feels weird without sounding like a negative nancy.

I wonder what will happen if a lot of people boost their profile.. Does boosting your profile become less valuable if there are thousands of other people who do it as well? Or is there some kind of weighted system?... I'm curious to know how this works.

Okay my promotion has ended I got 1000 views and 3 profile clicks )))))))))

So to sum up, my profile showed up on the listing of other users 1000 time but only 3 other users have clicked to go to my profile page.

The total payment was $7 for 3 profile views. LOL!!!!

For what its worth, I paid $70 and its been running for a week so far. 4,686 views and 12 clicks. Lol that's like a .25% conversion.

I've even been making sure to post everyday to get the most out of the promotional period.

Going to be buying a Dribbble boost as soon as it is released again.

Let's see how this works. https://bit.ly/2Ok3AmX

I actually like this idea. Look at the current state of Dribbble. Those who have few followers often find it difficult to gain exposure. They are overshadowed by the big players who have tens of thousands of followers. And, while this may not be the ideal solution to that problem, it at least has potential (maybe?)

That is so sad. I wonder why such great company is failing on monetizing their business. I'd love to read some more insights in the future from someone working @ Dribbble, exposing the issue.

I'm really curious about this. I just bought 1000 views for 7$, for 1 month. Let's see how this goes and what are the final results.

Oh? shh.. can you hear that?

It's the death knell for Dribbble.

If you wanted to launch a competitor, now is your chance.

To me, Dribbble's algorithms have always been awful and seem to be stuck on a cycle of only showing the same old early adopters and then a handful of new people who use scummy techniques to game the system. Now taking advantage of their poor tech to surface talent they're changing that bug into a feature that you pay for.
