Your UI work is fabulous. Is the UI a prototype or actually live in Electron?
I was also curious about this.
This is live in Electron. The introduction movie is a screen capture of the real working version.
Then well done; it looks stellar, and not at all out of place, like so many Electron apps.
I learned a lot about designing for macOS through this project. Making it feel like a real mac app was an interesting challenge.
There's also a MapKit from Apple. Might want to tweak the name a bit
Choosing a name for this side project wasn't that easy. I was aware of the fact that Apple makes use of this name. But tweaking it sounds like a better plan!
There is an open source Tile editor on OSX called Tiled if anyone would want to contribute and make the UI better.
Godot too. Would be really good to see more great designers putting time into open source project.
Pretty great! One tiny bit of feedback: with things like ARKit floating around, I assumed this was some sort of Apple Maps thing until I clicked through. Shifting the name a bit (LevelKit?) might help it stand out a little more.
Thanks for the suggestion!
