I'm w/ Todd on this one... Appreciate exploring diff. layout methods... but this is pretty hard for the eyes to target anything. It all looks like texture.

They could have at least used a different accent color to make the CTA / article tiles pop out.

I'm also kinda with you on this one. There is clearly a lack of good execution and serious navigational issues. What surprised me the most was how outlandish the design is for such a large organization. They went down a risky road, tried to be different and mostly failed. Nevertheless, to note at least one positive point, I do think there was a good initial intention and an interesting creative starting point. Alas execution is just as — if not more — important than the initial creative spark.

It seems like a periodic table gone wrong. I appreciate the idea, but I have a very very good feeling this design went wrong, but due to budget constraints or head creatives who outstayed their welcome, were forced to continue down this path, regardless of how questionable it ended up.

These wireframes look great! When do you think they'll hand it off for high fidelity mockups?

    Some of this copywriting, wow:

Publicis.Sapient is purpose designed to address today’s digital business transformation imperative, with a core belief that success comes at the intersection of company and customer.

Visually it looks great, but has practical problems with layout flow. I just don't know where to look. But reading through this, I'm not sure it's meant to be read so much as signal to their target that "We are what you are looking for".

Nice idea, to be different. Terrible execution though.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking at or why it was submitted to DN in the first place?

Not my work in any case, I kinda stumbled upon it and was surprised in many ways by it — positive and negative. So I was curious to find out what the fine people at DN thought about it.

@Scott Graham — you're absolutely right...this is a safe forum for discussion of the bad and the good. Not sure what CW means? but this isn't an award site. As designers — regardless of discipline — understanding and analyzing problems and their solutions is key to evolving and maturing this community an craft. Cheers dood.

Aside from design critique Publicis is one of the largest forces in advertising. Sapient is their digital strategy arm now thats been renamed shuffled and repurposed due to the agency model falling a bit more out of favor.

What is the point of all these little icons? They're confusing—this whole site is.

This fails on the basics: 1. where do i focus/look 2. where do i click 3. quickly, tell me what the site is about

... i mean, i feel bad because it looks like a lot of work went into this. But it just doesn't look right or convey information coherently

Main issue right now is navigation since there isnt a clear clue on what is clickable and what's not
