Don't update critical software in the middle of a project.

Not sure if it works, but you can always download it and then redownload Sketch 48 if it is too slow. I did that with 49 when it came out.

Sketch needs to work on stability and quickness over new features.

Always a bummer when you try to edit a file in an older version after you made changes in the newer one, though. I updated, have almost never had an issue except with some plugins temporarily not working.

49.1 is usable for me but still slower than 48. 49.0 was completely unusable.

I work on roughly 400 art boards large file (cca 150MB) and it works great. I just wished it would be possible to make symbol or art boards overlays for prototyping. Or has anyone figured out how to demo same dropdown on different pages?

Can anyone confirm if this fixed the horrible lag with files that have a lot of artboards?

It seems the last file format change is 43.0. It should be safe to test it out if you've already using Sketch 49.0. It's safe to 48.x also IMO.

Sketch is about 85734573948752349875043875034987x faster for me. Other than that, business as usual.

I will skip this version too. 49.0 was the laggiest release ever. I will wait for a couple of versions more.
