    Hey guys!

The Proto.io team has been working on this awesome new product called Overflow - User flows done right.

Overflow makes creating beautiful user flows an effortless task, leaving time to focus on what matters: communicating designs to get valuable feedback. Overflow diagrams can be previewed as a captivating presentation or a click-through rapid prototype to help designers tell the story behind their designs.

We would love to hear your thoughts on it and don't forget to request an early access to beta.

Looking forward to your thoughts :)

    Cheers

This looks great. What are the file types supported by Overflow? Can we import Sketch files? How about Adobe XD?

Why did you remove the proto.io branding? I was just about to close the tab and probably forget about the product. I'm just going back to the page and sign up just because I respect the proto.io -not to mention saved my ass countless times in tight delivery deadlines while the constant rain of changes bashing down from product managers. It's really amazing a web tool could able to withstand such heavy usage like a desktop app.

We are on it. Sorry about that. Do you experience the same issue with other browsers?

Hi Stephanie, we are having some connectivity issues that are currently outside our control. We’ve reported them so hopefully it should be resolved soon. If you try accessing the page outside your network, you should be ok. Our apologies.

Looks promising. Are you guys planning support transitions between screens?

Thanks Tomas:). Transitions will not be supported in our initial release, but requested features will be taken into account for the future roadmap.

Thanks for sharing this. Perhaps this is a consequence of your polished video, but this feels like you're tackling user flows from the wrong end of my process. By the time I've mocked up screens, many flow decisions have already been made and communicated via InVision prototype or something similar. Exploring and sharing user flows before, or as part of, wireframes is much more crucial to me. What's your take on where user flows fit into various levels of design fidelity?

Hi Arthur, yes we agree that user flow creation starts earlier in the design process. The promotional video currently just shows a higher visual fidelity user flow. With Overflow, you can build your early stage user flows and effectively present and share them as an interactive presentation (auto-generated from your flow without any extra effort), before you proceed with syncing your designs

Any plans to have note features? I've been thinking about this exact design presentation need, but I want to show how the overall flow meets business goals or SOW goals, or maybe even an entire section of the flow meets a particular need or goal.

Hi Paul, thanks for your feedback. Commenting while in presentation mode will not be part of our initial release, we know how important it is to have this feature and will be working on it very soon.

I signed up for the the preview, because even with symbols, managing and building flows in Sketch isn’t fast enough for me.

I think I’m looking for something deeper than comments. I want to show a correlation between a section of screens and how they meet a particular set of user needs, how it conforms to existing design patterns (or extends them) or how it meets the terms of an SOW or business goals.

Maybe this can be accomplished through notes or a grouping of a set of screens and I just haven’t seen this functionality yet.

I’m looking forward to playing with the preview!

Is it hosted by you, or is it a stand-alone desktop application?
