Flinto 25: Adaptive Snap, Adaptive Handles and Button Gestures (flinto.com)

What exquisite torture. I want Flinto adaptive handles and scrollable sections and hovering, but I want other design app's UI and plugins, and another app's ability to share prototypes easily, and another app's this and that.
Like I get that this competition pushes all of them to be better, but many times it feels like they are all just versions of the same app that specialize in slightly different tools or refinements.
The ONLY design tool that has truly broken this paradigm I feel is Webflow, but that is more appropriate for just web design than UI design outside of the web.
Flinto is easily one of the best tools I don't use. The care you put in the product really shows and it has so many great features I miss in other tools.
And I think that's really the only caveat to it. To me it's just a bit too complex and therefore complicated. The simplicity of Principle can get in the way, but more often than not it's all I need to show an idea.
Maybe some day I can spend a good amount of time to get to know Flinto better, I'll be all the happier for it!
Great work, Nathan and team!
I'd really appreciate hearing where you got tripped up in hopes of improving Flinto, and happy to walk you though prototyping in Flinto if you like. I'll send you an email.
Adaptive Handles, dayuuum now i will recognized it everywhere - THX FLINTO. But fun aside i love how they are taking care of so much little details. For example the color picker.
Flinto is my go-to tool for any time I need a prototype that’s higher fidelity than just a simple click through.
I’m stoked to see you guys continue to improve it!
I don't even use Flinto and I really appreciate the amount of consideration and detail they put into these tweaks.
It's the difference between a creaky door and a smooth, quiet one. I almost always prefer the quiet one, and man, so many design tools (especially Sketch) are one giant creaky door.
