    One request: Would you be willing to use "person" instead of "guy" in universal cases like this?

      As an aside. Why don't we collectively push for the word "guy" to be used as gender-neutral term (*in the way you would often see a person - of any gender - walk in to a cafe where their friends - of any gender - are eating, and say, "Hi guys!") instead of forcing people to integrate into a different paradigm to suit your opinion?

      Personally, I have no problems with gender neutral terms. But forcing integration isn't the way to go IMO. Changing the term is a far more frictionless and organic way to go about language adoption.

      Guy(s) can be neutral too. I use 'Guys' to address a group of people.

      I think language is malleable and 'guy(s)' is one of those words that has changed - depends in what context it is being used.

      I already see the use of ‘guys’ as gender neutral. My friends all use it regardless of gender.

        Thinking about this...I use "guys" to refer to a group regardless of gender but I have never used "guy" (singular) as a gender neutral term

      Would I be willing to in the future? Yeah, I don't see why not. But I'm not going to change the title here, because based on the given context at the point in time that I posted this, it was meant to be gender neutral. To me, the user's intent is the only thing that truly matters.

    Why would I choose Vue over React though? What are the benefits?

      It always come down to preference and your current needs. I really like React, but Vue is smaller & faster and seems to have a more simple syntax, so the learning curve should be lower. Whereas React has more documentation, a lot of flexibility, a steeper learning curve, but is really quick to develop things in once you wrap your head around it.
