Congrats! Webflow seriously the best thing that happen to the designers. Especially the ones who mutter "if only I knew how to code"
Love webflow. I just wish they were able to output code in bootstrap/foundation/etc. Too many clients of mine require this because that's what their devs know.
Webflow is based on Bootstrap.
It's not. It has it's out layout system.
It is. The 2nd paragraph here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webflow
It's only available for Mac, however, I would check out Blocs (https://blocsapp.com/). It builds websites with Bootstrap 3. Personally, I have been enjoying the experience.
Hm... if you work with devs, what role does webflow play then?
Back-end devs who need the ability to use familiar components like bootstrap
that seems counter-intuitive. When the frontend code is done by webflow, then backend devs won't need bootstrap. Why would they need bootstrap? They can just take the existing frontend code and pass the data to it. I mean, there are tons of workflows out there, so the workflow of your team might involve backend devs using a frontend framework for whatever reason.
Yes, I feel ya. But if it's in Bootstrap and the backend developer needs to add a component somewhere or modify a layout, they already know the class names and structure so there's less cognitive overhead.
I agree though 100%. I would rather write my code how I want instead of being bound by something like Bootstrap. I've just had this request more than once.
Love how you walk the visitor through your process and the different phases of the design process. Great case studies.
Gorgeous case studies! I also like how you have "Currently Learning" underneath your skills.
Digging the gradients and hover effect, oh wait I knew that was familiar Lol. Anyway, big fan of Webflow too.
Webflow is such a fantastic product, even when you already know HTML/CSS.
I wish I could use Webflow's animation/interaction interface for my non-webflow sites.
No luck for existing sites, but for new projects they support exporting the html/css/js package.
Man, it's so neat and clean. I love it. I'd no idea about web flow. Thanks for that, I will have a look at it.
One small niggle, your logo doesn't take me back to the homepage.
Loved your pixel avatar. FRESH MEEAAT!
Hey Tomas,
looks slick. I like the clean presentation of your User Interface work. Good Job. Looking forward to your relaunch :)
Best, Hüseyin
Cool! Are you using the CMS?
Thank you! I'm not using the CMS because I have de Simple Plan. But I'm considering using it in future projects because its great :)
Nice portfolio and some really nice work.
I noticed the social media links in the footer are empty links
I'd be into Webflow if it was a stand alone product like Blox.
Do you mean if it was one-off payment, rather than subscription?
Everything is getting blocked by my adblocker
Same here the homepage images dont show up at all
The culprit was my Privacy Badger extension blocking files from webflow for whatever reason.
I'm Tomás Martínez, a Product Designer who has worked with startups, agencies and small and large companies
Looks goods! noticed a typo on the about me section (First section I look at).
Thank you for the tip! Since my first language is Spanish, I still fail writing in English sometimes :)
Excellent work. I appreciate your incorporation of case studies in your websites. The clear, large visuals coupled with the subtle animations makes this a compelling portfolio. I am curious, why are you focused on affordable and beautiful products specifically? How do you qualify what projects are affordable?
Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate all the good words :)
And you are right about the 'affordable'. It was kind of a lost in translation. I think 'usable' is a better word and I've already changed it. Thank you so much!
