Great story! I love to see the realistic side of these. Most sites would pitch this as a case study for "quit your job and make $800,000" but discounts all the work leading up to that and getting decently lucky (hitting #1 on app store months after you launch isn't exactly common). Even then, hitting #1 on the app store doesn't mean you are sitting back and relaxing on some beach somewhere.
