As a fan and user of Affinity products, I'm excited about this. Keep the sneak peeks coming please!
cmon cmon. i switched to designer and photo when hey launched. can't wait to ditch indesign as well!
Can it underline text?
Haven’t underlined text since 30 years! Who needs this?
Thankfully, you are welcome to not underline text while those of us that find it useful can.
I thought I should write that I’m 28 years old, so the irony shows off better, but left it this way. :)
i think this is a meme but i don't understand it
It refers to this, so basically a »meme«, yes.
I don't even need this, but I'm buying it because I support Affinity.
Can't wait!!
This looks great, been after a proper InDesign replacement since giving up my Creative Cloud subscription
I'm confused as an Affinity Designer user/lover, why would I buy this when I can do print work in Designer. Unless Publisher will have more auto layout options like text columns etc.
This'll be more of a full-on desktop publishing app, along the lines of InDesign.
So I will finally be able to cancel my Adobe subscription - yeah!
Yes yes yes yes yes
I've been waiting for this one for a long time.
Take my money – Please!
As a big InDesign user, excited to see this product evolve. With that being said, did anything in that video wow anyone else... feature wise? Totally understand it's a sneak-peek. Still hopeful!
i didn't see anything wow me. but i am keen to move away from adobe totally and indesign was the only program i still needed from them....
I noticed two things. First, a vertical text box rule. I saw that a rule was created vertically and set to the outside left of the text frame. So, you would do that instead of drawing a separate vertical rule. I don't think InDesign has that.
Second, did you notice that the effects filter on the photo was "live"? Instead of having to select Multiply or Screen or Overlay individually to view one at a time, you slide over each selection and the change is immediate and "live". Now that is cool.
