Looks very promising but:
Time and money spent on a marketing video describing a problem that's been around for ages only to leave the last 10 seconds......not actually showing the product solving that problem but icons and text of features? What was the thinking behind that?
I can respond to that: the video was something made a while back (let's say 2016) and yeah, the website needs to be updated, but since we're a small team and for now Flow is in early beta we didn't want to do a lot of work on that front (though we're working on a new website too!). We didn't want to post the new beta launch on places like Product Hunt cause we wanted to have a small amount of users to gather feedback from. But since yesterday we ranked #3 on PH it suddenly went viral. We're supper happy about it but we def need to re-do the website and I hope is going to be ready soon!
I really liked the video. However, It would have been great to have just a little sneak peek of the product itself, so not only the video can tell me the value proposition but also the format (desktop app, web app, sketch plugin, etc). Make that scroll be worth it even more.
Thanks for your feedback, we're working on a new version of the website, hopefully out in the next versions of the Beta!
For iOS apps only, it looks like?
Man, when is this animation gap going to be crossed.
If you can wait a few months Flow is gonna let you hand-off code for almost any language you want :)
This is really good!
Thanks @Andu for the feedback. I'm glad you dig the interface and branding. As you said, you can just animate whatever you want and never care about code. Also, is important to point that or main goal is to build a bridge between the design and code process. Even if now we're mostly focused on sketch and Swift, we have HUGE plans for the rest of the programming languages (and design apps).
