I only use one Sketch plugin (Oct. 2017)

Hi there

This is Olivier from SketchTalk. I have to admit, I'm not a big Sketch plugin user. Currently, it's just Anima's stacking feature that we're all super happy about here at work. So for me it's Launchpad by Anima. Okay, plus this one here maybe: Symbol Instance Renamer to keep my layer list clean.

How about you? What plugins are you currently using? Maybe one you discovered recently?

Just discovered this one and had to add it!
It let's you create Breakout game levels in Sketch and actually play them! Wonderful, useless, but amazing!

Bunch of them at the moment:
- Runner - helps automate and speed up some things
- Launchpad as well:)
- Content Generator - helps you include different types of content, e.g. photos / avatars / names / etc.
- Craft - mostly for syncing artboards with InVision - really helpful if you're actually using InVision.
- Stark - ensure your design is accessible and high contrast for every type of color - useful if you care ;)
- SVGO Compressor - well, obviously...

  SVGO compressor says it requires sketch 3.8. Do they mean 3.8+, or just 3.8?

- Symbol State - how I easily manage states of various nested symbols
- Artboard Layout Settings - quickly copy and paste layout settings
- LayerRenamer - renaming utility
- Stark - great accessibility tool
- Batch Create Symbols - makes creating symbols less tedious
- Name Organizer - I like to be organized
- Merge Duplicate Symbols - helps me reduce clutter
- SVGO Compressor - who doesn't use SVGs?

Yes, Symbol Instance Renamer paired with Organize Symbols are a daily use combo IMO.

I work with a lot of Government organisations so I'm a big fan of the Color Contrast Analyser plugin - accessibility is easily missed.

Erm… none. I’ve been burnt in the past by relying on plugins for workflow (Adobe products, Macromedia products, Quark products!) so I’ve been hesitant to even look at them in Sketch.
Things may have moved on but the disconnected upgrade path and subsequent compatibility issues (well, straight up not working) leaves me a little wary.
Anyone else feel this?

  Yes, I totally do. Used to be a Quark user too… In Sketch the majority of plugins are not needed to be installed to open and work on a file if you have used them before. They are doing something at one moment and do not have to be present the next time you open and work on that file again. Try some plugins on test files, not on production files.

Sketch Mate alt+cmd+r for replace layer(s) is an absolute life saver (plus the many layout options)
