While you're at it, I recommend trying out this webapp I absolutely love: raindrop, it replaced bookmarks for me. Maybe it won't for you, but if you feel like to, give it a try.

In bookmarks, I put everything work related to Dev folder and everything else to root bookmark. It's a huge mess, and that's why raindrop helped me to organize my bookmarks.
