I'm more of a developer, so go gentle on the design :)
I really like the color palette, and I think the type and layout is really clean and easy to follow. However, I think you're missing out on not using the phrase 'Howdy, I'm Ben Howdle' ;)
this is a sensitive topic as my last name is CONSTANTLY misspelt/misheard. sadness.
Since everyone is complimenting Ben I might as well balance it out.
I think it's straight up trash.
And by trash I mean I like it.
Thanks for keeping me grounded.
This is great and makes me want to start learning javascript to expand my skills. Keep up the great work!
I really like this. The visual design is good and you write really well.
I found a bug in the article section. On :hover on smaller screens the :after underline overflows because of the padding on the links.
EDIT: I can' link images :( But here's the url: http://imgur.com/a/8cSn9
EDIT AGAIN: What happened to your twitter?
Thanks for the feedback!
My Twitter went away...
It's weird that you have pics for all the people who wrote a testimonial, but not for yourself.
Beyond that, I really liked what content you used and how you organised it.
Maybe the text in purple — #605C84 — could use a bit more contrast.
I agree. I really wasn't sure whether to include my face or not... ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I liked the simple design, Ben.
Nice work! My only suggestion would be to left align your "Hire me for these things" cells.
Hmmm, this was one area I wasn't happy with either. Although, I'm not 100% sold it looks right left aligned either. Thanks for the feedback regardless!
I came here to say this!
Nice website Ben, looks great
Wait, came here to say you liked it, or the left-aligning cells bit?
To left align :)
Perfect. Consider it done: http://benhowdle.im
Looks good
Well done Ben. Clear and concise. No fluff.
It tells me exactly what I need to know. Easy to read. Nothing superfluous. It does the job. I like it.
I really liked the tone of your copy and the simplicity of the design. Well done.
