They did not REBRAND their site. They redesigned it. It's the same branding...

I like it, though it looks and feels a lot different than actually using the product, so it seems a bit like a disparity between experiences there. Not really sure if that matters though.

Yeah, not a redesign, but a continued resignation to impulses and obtuse tactics that break the holistic nature of Slack's core identity and product.

The site and their overall image look harsh and undisciplined.

The heap of hero graphic junk that looks like refrigerator magnets arranged by someone's granny hopped up on Adderall is gross.

In general, the illustration styles are all over the place and disconnected.

The typography is unhinged and all over the place.

All that said, there is a strong likelihood we're no longer the audience this is targeting.

Looks like they're going after the granny market and breaking things to make it feel more folksy.

I'm not seeing anything new. I'm seeing the same version that Wayback Machine has for February. Is it an A/B test?

Yeah, I believe you're right. I don't notice anything different since this thread New Slack Homepage was made regarding the same changes 7 months ago.

Good catch, they've got to be testing. The new site has new typography, navigation, and a new art style with a lot of illustration.

Oh wait! no joke, I opened it up in an incognito/private tab and now I see the newer illustrations (looks nice). I stand corrected.

Damn, I love Tiempos so much. Too bad the license is so expensive.

I'm a fan of the new illustrations. Reminds me a bit of Oscar's style. https://www.hioscar.com

That "Where Work Happens" font is great. Know of a similar google font? Maybe playfair display?

I would love to hear other suggestions, but in my opinion nothing really comes close. Playfair Display is far too stylized.

That whole paragraph is poorly written. It's like they just threw all the words they wanted to say down with little craft.
