So I wanted to find some good online/offline magazine about UI/UX Design. I remember that smashing magazine was popular at some point but right now it looks like they are not catching up with new stuff (photoshop and fireworks in graphic design section). Right now we only have publications on medium or am I wrong?

I suppose not specifically for tips/tricks of the trade type content. However, it's great for a behind the scenes conversational style look into the lives and outlooks of "industry leaders". It also has a lot from the development and entrepreneurial side of things. I find it to be a really well-rounded magazine for anyone in the tech industry.
Do you mean a real, like paper, magazine?!
If not, then you could check out newsletters or these sites which offer pretty consistent new ux content (some publish real, paper books):
