This is literally the most persuasive landing page I have come across in years. Fucking brilliant!
alt + click on notification hamburger?
This is just an app that automatically enables DND while screen sharing, it doesn't replace DND.
Yeah, same here. Nice app, but come on..
It's really just a stop gap. This should be part of the OS -- but it's not. So we had some fun and turned it into a quick download.
interesting. did not know you could do that.
This has to be one of the best landing pages I've ever seen for such a simple app.
You don't need this on Mac.
System Pref > Notifications > Do Not Disturb > CHECK "When mirroring to TVs and Projectors".
Nope. this doesn't turn on Do Not Disturb "when screensharing"
I solve this problem with separate macOS user accounts. I recommend a Personal and a Work account, but if you must mix the two, have a Daily Driver account and a Presentation account.
If you're using Chrome, make sure you have separate Chrome user accounts for each. This prevents the autocomplete problem.
You are an incredibly thorough human being.
I should be a designer or something.
It sounds like you're speaking from experience haha
Yeah, it always surprises me that more people don't take this approach
Add a share on Twitter and it will spread like wildfire. Also, post it to Producthunt.
Haha those sample notifications are hilarious.
Nice landing page, except it is directed only to men. Which, you know…
Negative ghost rider. We specifically split up the the gender jokes, and had some fellow women in tech help us come with some of the notifications. These are all loaded in at random, with random names.
Ok, story time: what's the worst thing that's come across your screen when screen sharing?
Lol the bit with the dealer happened to a friend of mine
May I suggest running a color contrast checker on the landing page? Hard to read! Also I can't copy and paste anything!
But you can click on the download button ;)
Kill notification center in Terminal?
Erik, buddy. Doesn’t that seem more tedious to deal with every time? :P
There's always someone that would prefer to do it the hard way.
Wow, this literally just came out and Apple already copied it and put it in their OS. Smh Apple is truly shameless...
This actually toggles that. You never have to remember to do it as long as muzzle is running.
