Does this mean that designers not only have to code but also design?

    Great job, Framer team!

    Thanks for posting Shaun!

We couldn’t be more proud to announce the launch of Framer Design. You can start your projects directly in Framer, using a graphics tools built specifically for interaction work. It has all the familiar features you know and love, but with some special additions. Auto-layout, smart positioning and device-specific artboards. It’s the last piece of the puzzle in our mission to help you design things that feel real. Give it a go and let us know what you think!

This is better than when Drake drops an album.

Now, if we only could use that code for full featured production apps, we would go full circle. :)

    BTW: How's about component-focused project design ?

I have been reading through Getting Started documentation on Framer web and I am a little bit disappointed that Design section is their recommended way of doing things from now on but provided tools are pretty basic. Sketch is currently the king and has all the tools UI designer needs, especially plugins. Why do different apps expect people to use their design tools but provide 50% of Sketch toolset? If Framer would have advanced design stuff in Design section I would ditch Sketch right this moment, but for now combining gazillion apps for a bit of animation is still our reality. Overall, good job Framer, you probably got a new user!

It looks incredible, but that subscription pricing though. Boooooo. Take a page from Sketch's book.

THIS. Literally the only thing that stopped me from insta buying. If it was 99/yr I'd be fine with it. And why no lower tiered option without their cloud service? Can't I just export if I really want to?

Sketch is pretty much a subscription. If you stop paying you're going to be getting "This was created by a newer version of sketch" error pretty quickly, if you're working with other designers.
