I'm guessing it's a Sketch or Affinity competitor.
Here's their image @ 2x:
Looks like the app icon is in between the Maps and Messages apps in the dock. Maybe it starts with the letter M?
Curious as hell. They definitely make quality software.
Something with Morphing maybe?
Mixelmator
I'd guess it's called Graphique. I'd guess a dedicated vector tool.
Ooooh, good eye
My guess is either: 1. page layout program (i.e. InDesign) or 2. vector drawing program.
Vector drawing is my guess, too, sort of how "command+shift+v" activates the "vectormator" mode, but broken out in its own app
Definetively isn't a Sketch competitor. Type and Phography doesn't seem a good clue for UI design. I bet is something motion related.
Hair in the main image, icon reminiscent of the Mac "Photos" app - I'm wondering if it's a more mass-market photo masking tool?
I think this will be definitely a competitor to PS/Affinity, and an evolution of the Pixelmator, with some extra features - like others wrote, the icon and the part of the revealed image suggest this... and guidelines are needed not only in a vector drawing app ;)
With the name Graphique and the brush in the icon, looks like a drawing app.. But with the guides and what's on the artboad, it looks like a layout app... I'm confused, curious and a slave to shinny new products...
I see hair and I automatically think: easier close cutting.
But that's not really cool...
Can we hope it's... an update to the languishing Pixelmator Mac app?
Languishing? It received an update (minor yes) in November 2016. What more do you need? Can it not edit photos for you anymore?
Indeed minor, essentially a Sierra maintenance update with support for Touch Bar and OS-level tabs. Last major update was May 2016. My point being, at least now we know where all their development resources have been going...
