    My first impressions:

    • The music and the style made me think it's an April Fool's joke.
    • Would I really want to send my pictures to a corporate cloud where it gets analysed and stored for god knows what purposes.. That depth camera is not just for blurring the background.
    • Accidental nudes anyone?
    • Are we really that vain that we need a dedicated selfie camera?
    • Reminds me of Instagram Husband. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFzKi-o4rHw - i.e. what real problem is it solving?
    • The video is borderline sexist I think - trying to portray women as these narcissistic creatures that like to prance in front of a camera taking selfies or just care about clothing.

I personally don't have much of a use for it. I'm kind of nonplussed about the product because the use case fixed camera on a tripod is less interesting to me than voice control.

Like, I guess you could make a skill that took a photo and did something with that photo, but it seems less useful than a simple voice prompt. Processing the image and doing something interesting with it is also a harder hill to climb, technologically, than the sort of natural language processing that Alexa Skills currently entail.

Was this product created out of rigorous testing and analysis that in our day to day lives, we're missing a fixed-selfie camera? Personally, I'd never consider using something like this.

The one girl's jacket makes this look like a romcom set in the Blade Runner universe. Make. This. Happen.
