How we influenced the redesign of Dropbox.com (medium.com)

Love the update, looks really good! It might help remind me that Paper is a thing.
Still wish dropbox would support some sort of .dropboxignore
file... I'd upgrade to business tomorrow if I was able to easily ignore cache files or node_modules directories. Kind of a pain when working on 2 computers, or working with shared directories. Is storing them outside of your dropbox the only solution for dynamically generated files?

I personally see very little reason to use Dropbox for dev. Does Github not work for you?
Git works very well... I just like to have all my work/design/dev/docs/notes/contracts etc in one place like dropbox. It'd just be a nice to have.
not to mention having it on both creates another layer of redundancy.
This really is a model case study, Ed. Thank you for lifting back the curtain and sharing how you navigated this body of work through the company. Good work, as always.
Just a heads up, I noticed that I'm unable to skip the initial tour modal not sure if that's intentional or not. I tapping outside of the modal, but had to actually tap on start tour before I could skip.
Overall great job, I'm really digging the walkthrough!
Love the new design, but unfortunately it doesn't load for me on Chrome (Works fine in Safari and Firefox) even if I disable all extensions and open it in Incognito. I have a support ticket open, but indications so far seem to imply they are stumped.
The process of convincing the rest of the team is quite interesting. Reminds me of when my last dev team decided they wanted to refactor our app from Angular to React and the presentation they put together to convince everyone else.
Love the subtle transitions (navigations menus etc). Is there a library that helps you do that?
