I rather liked the campaign that focused on successful customers.
"Slack helps teams that put robots on Mars" was such a great line.
I agree with you. But I think slack is struggling with reaching non-techie people to adopt it. It can be cumbersome for the average Joe in an office to use it, and having rocket-scientist as the landing page's persona can be intimidating for some.
Long shadow is not dead.
I can't understand what is the product from this homepage. Not sure if it's just me.
Their brand has always felt bright and colourful to me, this feels a bit drab by comparison.
Looks like the marketing department took over. yawn
I love slack as much as the next guy, but don't care for the new landing look. I'd agree with some of the above that the old "Slack helps teams that put robots on Mars" campaign was more slack-ish then this one
Ofcourse, I understand that the change could have come for a number of reasons. Still a great product.
Still getting the "old" one - anyone able to do some screenshotting plx? :]
It feels like the copy here was chosen to oppose Microsoft Teams. The copy and colours don't highlight the "fun" of Slack to me, but perhaps that is no longer the audience or message they want to push.
"Where work happens." sounds a lot less fun then what it used to be like.
It's about time. :)
