    The icons are bad.

The blurry background behind the four "docked shelf" icons irritates me. I feel the blurry filter they've added is too strong in general. The control center looks ugly. The notification center with its blurriness is better, but the drop down animation is too bouncy/harsh.

And the PIN code screen. Jesus, the silly glow effect on the dials make it so much easier to read a person's PIN code from afar...

I like it even more after a full day's use. In my eyes, the enhancements, utility, and polish outweigh the negative aspects (and that list is plentiful). It shines when you use 3rd party apps that have restyled to match the iOS7-aesthetic.

But really, iOS7 is like a high-school friend who's all grown up, but has made some questionable life choices, like wearing a Christmas sweaters non-ironically.

Oh and it seems that you cannot interact with a lot of elements during transitions. So if you slide the notification center open for example and quickly want to hide it again, you can't. You basically have to wait until the easing of the transition is finished.

    Try it.

Open it and try to quickly close it again. Same with control center, same with switching Safari tabs. Or is it only like this on my 4S?

Overall, I really enjoy it. Yea, some aesthetic choices are questionable, but it feels solid, has great visual transitions, and I welcome the added functionality. Control center is my jam. It's a step in the right direction. Mostly.

I can't overlook those icons, though... it's not so much the iconography that offends me, as much as the colors. It's. So. Goddamn. Bright. The worst offender is the green gradient on the Phone/Messages/Facetime apps.

I have to specifically pick dark wallpapers because otherwise, my retinas will melt.
