Gorgeous. Thanks for inviting me on this beautiful trip (not)
Hey folks, over the past few years I've been making more and more intricate photostories to document my travels. All custom designed/developed myself. Earlier this year I spent a month in New Zealand on a solo trip and have been slowly making photosets for each part of the trip. Here's the third photoset (out of likely 10+). And here's a summary video of the highlights of the whole trip: http://youtube.com/watch?v=14brbxKgPKU
This is just Brilliant, Paul. Also, right in time for me. I'm planning a trip to NZ next year, March-April and I've just begun my research. Your photo-stories give a superb point of view of the journey to the North and South Islands.
Brilliant.
Go to the South Island, Coramandel Peninsula and the Bay of Islands. Also, the best beach very few people know about is about a 15 minutes walk to the left of Waihi beach. Lonely planet will tell you it's new chums beach, but trust me, this is better.
OP - really nice website, I love the film components. really makes you want to keep scrolling. Nice work, but it made me homesick.
Thanks a lot for the recommendation, Todd. Will definitely keep it on my list. Much appreciated.
Wow, that autoplay video just hiding within the grid was such a great moment. This is amazing work, as usual. Wish I had your patience ;)
Amazing! How do you keep track of all this information?
This is so amazing! I always think of documenting my travels, but never end up doing it. It looks like a lot of hard work, but also fun! Beautifully done.
Awesome! I just moved to NZ last year as an UX designer and it's a great adventure country — I'm always getting a away with the family and surfing over the weekends!
I think you really captured the essence of these places. Really nice. Inspired now to get out and explore my own country a bit more :)
