Apparently graphic, industrial, fashion designers and architects don't form studios according to this article. (/s)

Some of these seem like pretty unrelated and random picks, I'm guessing they were chosen based on "hey, their website looks nice!"

Waark, cuberto, crativedash, and focuslab don't belong anywhere near this list.

But then again, I'm not sure why I clicked on a blogvertising listicle and expected an in-depth analysis by someone in the industry. Ahhh the eternal disappointment of internet journalism.

I'm curious why you think those don't belong in this list. "Best" is pretty subjective, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.

Waark, cuberto, etc. are relatively new, tiny studios who have flashy websites and no industry reputation or history of producing high quality/innovative work for any sought-after or high profile clients. Their portfolios are flashy to make up for the lack of quality work samples on their sites.

Listing them alongside Work&Co and Fantasy makes no sense. And if we are going to talk about tiny studios in the same list as global agencies, then there are about 40 studios I can think of that do better brand and/or product work.

It would be better if they have presented their portfolio as well, so people who are looking for design agencies can pick one from the list. According to their requirement and previous works impressions.

I would like to share you one design agency based in Hyderabad, India Creatlive Studios (http://www.creatlivestudios.com) which is into brand identity design & brand positioning. They have a good client portfolio

These clickbaity, rage inducing posts looking to rile the community to create traffic for their site are pretty blatant. Let's not pretend this is anything but that.

In an effort to make a positive contribution to this thread. Anyone got an actual list of 'Top' design agencies?

eConsultancy publish this list every year. Some surprising entrants - seems to be ordered by income.
