Material Theme - https://github.com/equinusocio/material-theme
I'm using the white version of this theme and love it. Almost all other applications (except for photo and video editing) have a white background, not sure why dark backgrounds are always the default for coding tools. I'd be curious to find out why.
Material Theme is pretty awesome. Dark backgrounds are much easier for the eye, especially at night. Try coding in a dark room with a dark theme for a couple of hours, and then switch back to light theme. You'll feel like somebody is pointing a flashlight into your eyes.
material dark theme + flux = my eyes love me
I've been running the Material theme for quite awhile and every time I switch off of it I come back eventually. It's color relationships are some of the most attractive and pleasing I've seen.
I use Oceanic Next, which is part of the awesome Base16. Base16 is available in Atom's package manager and comes with all the palettes on Chris' project page.
For the interface theme, I use One, which is made to match your syntax theme's colors.
Beautiful! What font is that?
Thanks! That's Input Mono, you can configure yourself a version right here: http://input.fontbureau.com/download/
+1 for Oceanic Next. It looks great with SF Mono.
I designed my own theme from base16 ocean that only has 4 colors. I find it's less distracting than a full theme. https://github.com/mike-engel/atom-simple-base16-ocean
Nice! I've found that really simple color themes are always better for cognitive load contrary to the popular attitude that really jazzed-out themes are better.
Totally! I think my code has improved as a result.
Fairyfloss tho <3 https://sailorhg.github.io/fairyfloss/
Solarized Dark forever.
Also, using the Pigments plugin is super cool. It highlights the CSS color code in the actual color. Works with Sass variables too.
Seti UI Theme + syntax specific color schemes, and fonts for markup, css, json, etc.
markup color scheme: modified sunburst (comes with sublime) with modifications for diff. background colors per language used. In this example, php and html:
markup font: Fira Mono
css: Seti's Theme color scheme.
css font: ubuntu mono
json color scheme: Monokai JSON+
theme: cobalt2 syntax: tomorrow night eighties
Currently using Panda Syntax, Space Mono font on Atom
http://panda.siamak.work/https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Space+Mono
I use Panda syntax for Atom https://atom.io/themes/atom-panda-syntax
Also recommend installing Seti Icons package https://atom.io/packages/seti-icons and minimap package to improve your Atom usability and look even more: https://atom.io/packages/minimap
base-16-google-dark
I use Boxy Theme https://github.com/oivva/st-boxy with base16-eighties color scheme
Using Panda Syntax with SF Mono font.
Once you go Spaceblack, you never go back.
I did basically the exact same thing.
Material theme with a heavily edited version of Monokai and the same icon to boot. That icon sucks though (look at the spacing of elements... it's like they were just haphazardly thrown in there), so I reworked it to actually have some semblance of proper spacing like an actual code editor would.
I use Cyanide with the Flatland Monokai colour scheme: https://packagecontrol.io/packages/Theme%20-%20Cyanide
Awesome theme.
