Favorites portfolios - Hypershoot

Here are three of my favorites (each from a different domain):

• The making of Medium by T+L: Emphasis on the goal, vision, as well as design details.
• Startup Universe – Design Process by Giorgia Lupi: Just a default wordpress theme, but her focus on sketches of the visualization to highlight the thought process is really inspiring.
• Ripoffs and making our original game by Threes: Not exactly a case study, but an extreme example of showcasing everything (iterations, emails & more) as part of your documentation.

There’s also the Case Study Club that has a good collection. And a recent thread on DN about writing case studies might offer some useful advice too.

Fantasy.co always had some of the best looking/presented case studies on the market. They seem to have gone all in on video for the more recent examples, which is a super compelling idea (if not extremely effort intensive). Case study is basically telling a story and video is the obvious medium.

Anton & Irene have great case studies. Well-designed in themselves, in-depth about the process and the methods they used to get to their solution. This is a good example: http://work.antonandirene.com/zumtobel/
