    I decided to revisit the way app icons and favicons are created.

    There are not many good solutions available. Most of them are either outdated or online-based services. Icon Slate is pretty decent but I feel it should be in the design tool. Plus none of the existing tools seem to do any optimizations on the icons, and they end up being around 1-2MB in Mac Apps. They can be made 30-50% smaller. That's huge, e.g. Sketch icon was reduced from 913 KB to 455 KB :)
