Note the new iOS design language with bold navigation titles is mostly confined to Music.app (and maybe one other place).
I think it looks great. Happy to see some variation in typography and hope this sets a trend. Enough thin fonts!

It kind of works for news but Apple Music is hideous.
I, in my humble opinion, do not enjoy that Extrabold title.
It is a bit much, but at least it breaks the illegible grass field of light faces Apple employs currently.
I dig it. Apple Music UI sorely needed it. Adds personality and it's easier to read at quick glance on small screen.
I love them. I think they are way overdue. The typographic hierarchy makes so much more sense.

Beautiful but overused, presumably.
Nothing. On the contrary, that "t" always makes me fall in love with it again.
It was more of a tongue-in-cheek reference to the fact that Spotify moved to Circular (I think 3 months ago?), and the fact that Apple Music obviously took a lot of cues from Spotify (especially with the success of Discover Weekly).
I've felt like I was going to get major hate for defending it so far, but I'm super fond of it. I've always been a fan of the Vignelli/Rand/Chermayeff & Geismar style, and it feels very reminiscent. I think it'll age much better than many of their previous design choices.
Seems to be all over: http://www.apple.com/ios/ios10-preview/ Music, Home, News, Maps, Photos - most of Apple native apps. I for one welcome the variation in font weight - helps draw the eye to a title start point on screen. Far too much whispy thin font going on before. Now we have hierarchy. The size in certain places over-emphasises the weight, and I would have dialled down the weight or size in some places, but a refreshing change IMO.
I thought I also saw it being used in the new News app and also in the new Home app, so it's not confined to just Apple Music :/ I would expect to see it pop up in other places too. Overall I like it :)

To me, tvOS and this new bold typography represent a new direction for iOS away from iOS 7’s core look.
Objects are more physical, bright colors are being moved from UI components to the type itself, and clearer hierarchy.
I do think that the extrabold type is an overcorrection, however. Just like iOS 7 was, in many ways. :P
But be prepared for this to be rolled out to more apps in the upcoming months/years.
