So I guess most people don't have a problem at all with the UI updates, being as most of these are icon based? It's certainly interesting that they decided to drop the camera as a focal point in the menu. I can only assume they don't need to encourage content creation anymore.

typo aside, the 'instragram' one is just like one in the video, and probably my favorite of the concepts (though I actually don't hate the new icon, except it doesn't feel in tune with the wordmark)

Looks like these design innovators doesn't know (or they didn't even noticed it) how to make a squircle or superellipse and used just a rectangles + round corners with some random radius applied.
That's what seperates men|women from boys|girls and makes all these pixel vomits looks like a poorly made Chinese copy.
You have too many double negatives going on here.

I put this one together a couple of years ago when Instagram first used the simplified camera icon with the denim blue. At the time it was an exercise in "what would this icon look like on my home screen?"
Looks like I messed up the squircle. Fuck.
