This is basically just a marketing piece for Toptal.
And yet a downvote button is too much to ask for.
Just ask for a downvote and upvote the comment. Easy!
Michael - I had a one on one chat with a guy that built a $100m business starting from his dorm room. Don't tell me your not a little bit inspired?
Designer News Faces Higher Clickbait Headline Rate Than Upworthy
John Flynn - i guess one persons judgment of clickbait is another person idea for a catchy headline.
Your article doesn't talk about acceptance rates and barely mentions designers at all. It also basically has nothing to do with Designer News other than being an ad for Toptal's new focus on designer hiring. I'd say those things pretty much define a clickbait headline.
Who has the time to read this?
Some honest feedback Paul.
The article had that schmoozy, Andrew Warner, Mixergy feel.
I also clicked and read (skimmed) - and was disappointed by the article based on the promise of the title.
