Keep in mind that this programs uploads your entire codebase to Kite's servers. If you are working for a company or under an NDA, this would definitely violate your contract. More commentary on HN: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=11497111

This is like Dash but even more useful. I feel that contextually aware information services like this are going to be a big thing in the next few years. Google Now/Siri/Cortana are another hint at this.

This looks great and seems to be a nice evolution of classic IDE functionality. ! I'm a bit worried about privacy though. Sending keypresses to the cloud is a no go, no matter where you work.
