Nice idea, but holy shit what an unusable site. Trying to actually download the font is almost impossible. If you scroll too fast down (or sometimes just at random??) it takes you back to the homepage with no way of getting back to the font page. There's also no way to view the font in multiple styles.
They tried getting a little too creative with this interface. Nice fonts, though.
There are so many open source fonts nowadays it's hard to know which are good, and showing them in situ is great too.
If this ends up with the best from services like Google Fonts, FontSquirrel, and others, then this could be seriously useful. Thanks!
Far more interesting and creative than just scrolling through Google Fonts.
And fucking annoying. Usability > being pretty.
Thanks for being nice Terry.
Pretty cool example of the power of React components. Usability might need some tweaks, but I love it. The dynamic attribute sliders are smooth AF. Nice work.
Some of their sample copy is amazing:
"Jimmy Fallon struggles to keep a straight face as he shaves off Josh Brolin’s ‘70s porn moustache’ during chat show"
Really tight.
