The branding for Apple's operating systems over the years. This is what aesthetic degeneration looks like.
I'd like to not go back to leopard-print packaging, thank you. The rest of the article was really great though! Hadn't seen the Sacha Baron Cohen thing yet.
The Jaguar fur X is super duper ace.

Meanwhile Google's over here dropping surprise developer previews with legitimately great new user-facing features.
Aside from the red-headed-stepchild that is the FAB, google is doing alright.

I found Steve Troughton-Smith's wishlist utterly absurd.
He went on to whine how OS X was dead and iOS is the absolute future… then the rest of the article was just asking for features OS X has today which would have resulted in iOS just being a janky facsimile of OS X.
Really can't help but think this all stems from that weird mac blogger community smuggery of "all I need is my iPad to do my work" then they whine about how their iPad can't do everything their macbook can.
