Wow. If this an actual popup Apple is going off the deep end with UX. I'm agreeing less and less with flat design trends that result in visual call outs being essentially eliminated. I can say from my experience guerrilla testing material designed applications that some of the UX updates made by Alphabet (aka. Google) have not resulted in improved UX for end users.
