If you're just starting with React and Flux, I highly recommend using the framework Redux. It's pretty simple to start using and it's amazingly convenient and powerful. Head and shoulders above any other Flux implementation I've seen.

+1 for Redux. Some of its concepts can throw you into the functional deep end, but bear with it.
