      Do I have to publish my creations on your website? Or can I publish them on my own server (since they're mine)?

      Can't see myself paying for this unless it were the latter case.

        Yes, you publish to our platform. The mission of this app is to give people the easiest way to get their ideas online. We don’t aim to be a website builder or integrate into existing blog platforms.

        There are a lot of features in our pipeline, that will make the whole ecosystem more compelling in the future. Right now, you can use the DN deal and give it a try and enjoy 3 months of publishing for free.

    Awesome product. So simple and elegant! I was looking for something like this for a loooonng time!

    Two quick feed back tho: 1) When you put text on images, it becomes hard to select the images 2) Can you add link to different images in the same image group?

      You can also select an image in Structure sidebar. But it would be best if you can send me the screenshot where the problem occurs and also please explain to me what do you mean by add link to different images in the same image group. Send it to support@authorapp.co. Thanks

    Looks nice. Could compete with Ulysses (though I admit this is no Markdown).

    Can I also have side-note / comment functions as well? Aside from good typography – applause on this for you – a writer most needs organizational aids. Being able to record brief thoughts and revisit them later is a huge benefit (I write and also work at a writing center; that’s why many of my colleagues prefer Google Docs / MS Word / Pages).
