I'm intrigued as to why you chose a popup for the subscription form when the actual page has nothing on it?

This is what happened when I accessed the site; I opened it, the popup appeared and I closed it because I didn't know what the site was for. I saw what the site was for and thought perhaps I'd like to subscribe but the form was gone so I closed the site.

I can only speak for myself but I would say you'll have more luck if you put the form on the site and write a proper call to action.

Edit: I just looked again and realised you can re-open the form with the button in the bottom right but I'm on desktop and that was not very apparent.

I'm intrigued, am involved in the fintech space, but am not convinced enough to even give up my email.

What's the real secret sauce? No hidden fees doesn't cut it nor does better interface.

What jurisdiction is the bank located in, subjected to and thus, regulated under?

I really, really dislike the name Oink for a place to keep my money. Feels like the name of a BBQ rib shack not a bank.

If you're onto something and want to be taken seriously, change the name.

To be honest, I'm not even sure this is a serious page/company.

Anton and Jon, thank you for sharing your feedback and concern regarding the legalities of Oink. We are currently setting up a banking provider that will be FDIC insured and available only to US residents.

I apologize that our current landing page doesn't have this detail represented but it is something I will make sure is added. You are both right and I will do my part to fix and convey our safety, privacy and regulations.

I'll echo everyone else's comments and say that the landing page needs more info. Based on your Angel List page and what you've told us in your replies, it seems like an interesting product (and one I'd actually sign up for).

Having used half a dozen banks for business due to being unhappy with service, this sounds really interesting to me. Although, I was bummed to not see much other than just a teaser line.
