New sketch plugin lets you save text and color styles in a Google Sheet. Every time you run the plugin your Sketch text and color styles will be replaced with those you specify in the spreadsheet.
Thanks for submitting, Nick! Happy to answer any questions.
Also would love to get people sharing their pattern libraries. If anyone makes a library send it my way and I'll add it to the readme :)
Very nice! Now the only thing we still need would be a way to easily share symbols.
Totally possible. How do you think you would define the symbols in a Sheet? I was thinking of just starting with buttons (padding, border-radius, color, etc…)
Not sure how his would work technically, as symbols could get quite complex with lots of layers. But the most important thing would be to sync them across Sketch files for easier collaboration.
New URL for the plugin: usesync.com
(I need to update the repo name due to the way Github adds -master
to the filename, messing up the .sketchplugin
extension.)
hey, really awesome! I'm already using it!
But firstly I was expecting that it would save the already created styles in the Spreadsheets, and not the other way... This works also.
You can use the Style Inventory plugin for that :) https://github.com/getflourish/Sketch-Style-Inventory
This is so good! Thank you!
