Hooray, the "Under Construction" animations from 1999 are back!
The cynic in me thinks that you should have put the time into making your actual portfolio instead of this placeholder screen. Put yourself in a client's shoes: they can either work with you who can't present a portfolio, or they could work with another designer who can and has presented a portfolio. Even if you have really strong work, this sells you short.
Edit: I feel like I've been too negative so I want to add that I genuinely like the text effect.
I agree, this isn't good for client-getting. I'm not looking for clients at the moment, but I wanted to take down my old student portfolio for the time being. This placeholder screen is kind of a happy byproduct of the WIP main site, and yes I should probably be working harder on the real one. but it's the weekend, this was more fun :)
This is my placeholder: http://rayps.com
I put this online since the old Dribbble api is down. The new portfolio still working in progress.
What was the reason to take down your old portfolio and put this placeholder online?
Good question.
It was an outdated student portfolio, I'm working on an overhaul
Nothing to see on MS Edge either...
this is all I can see :(
I'm using safari 9.0.1
Is there anything beneath the codepen link? I ask because both zoom and scroll are broken on iOS.
