Sketch 3.4.1 is out (sketchapp.com)

Despite the bugs that still remain in the app, I am still pretty amazed at their speed in responding to bug requests and releasing updates.
I just want text to work beautifully like it does in Photoshop. Its super buggy and it got even worse on 3.4.
Couldn't agree more... it was at least tolerable on 3.3
While less buggy at the moment, the thing about Photoshop is the text doesn't look like it will in the browser. Sketch text rendering looks far more accurate in my opinion.
Ever had the "text rendering is different on Windows (or Android)" conversation with a client? If you just do stuff for Mac OS/iOS then the "accurate text rendering" is valid(ish)
But weigh in the pro's and con's instead. Sure the rendering is more accurate in Sketch, but is that really the most important thing?
I'd rather have knife sharp line height and text boxes from Photoshop than the mess it is now.
The Mac
text setting in Photoshop renders using the standard OS X text rendering engine, and means it matches WebKit/Safari.
Line height? It's just painful! I'm not even going to mention paragraph options and mixing multiple sizes of fonts in the same text area.
This has always been my #01 gripe. Text is awful. I don't think they'll ever fix it.
Argh.. Crashed 4 times in 10 minutes... Can I download an older version somewhere?
If your license is through the Apple app store, you should be able to uninstall it and reinstall the app store version since the 3.4.1 build hasn't been approved yet.
Bummer, I didn't license it through the app store. Maybe Time Machine can help me ;-)
Still really slow/laggy performance for me :(
Anyone else get huge squares of white when loading/Zooming in and out on 3.4? Hoping this fixes it. Plus random crashing.
I've been getting the worse types of crashes. (ex. I delete type, hit undo... BOOM crashed) Definitely wish I would have stayed on 3.3. Sketch is stressing me out. I was a little against that adobe Copycat but now, I'm all for it.
somewhat better. still super crashy and beachbally...
edit: specifically still problematic in copy/paste/undo and nudging elements around using arrow keys. right now I'm in the middle of a 5 minute paste -> undo beachball heart attack. good times.
I really miss being able to adjust text size with the little arrows to the right.
You know how you can adjust line-height with arrows, or border size? Why did they take that away from font size?
Ugh I guess I'm not the only one having issues with Zooming in and zooming out. Really unpleasant to use. :/
I hate to say it but this is starting to be a joke. For me it's not working, and when I say"not working" the application won't even start. Had to roll back to the previous version (3.4). Anyone else experiencing this problem?
Patiently waiting to update. Cmon App Store, gimmie gimmie.
I read that they're waiting on Apple to approve their update. If you download from their website, it should still recognize your license.
Which is why the App Store sucks. :/
Didn't know I could just leech the app from the website though. Thanks!
