In my opinion it's an absolute most to show an example, like a demo/sandbox project. Pushing to a sign up form is a huge turn off for me.
I'm not sure I follow - why is sign up a turn off?
Very purple, Much colour, Wow. (view the source)
Haha well spotted :D
Great update to the site Buzz! Always like the little details you add and the way you inform the viewer, simply and directly.
Oh, and I didn't realise you're at Skype now. Congrats!
Thanks David, appreciate that. I'm formerly Skype (I did all their icons back in the day), now I work at a little startup called Sendle
Ah I see, damn, sorry. The wording in your subtitle confused me. Well congrats are still valid for your new gig :)
Understandable. I only mention it because I find saying "I designed that shit video icon in Skype" is the most successful way to explain what I do to strangers :)
Haha, now that's a bio ;)
For consistency I would choose the hover state of the middle button with label "Start uploading images" for all buttons, but that is totally up to you.
I like the icons, very nice. However I find the one on pricing page a little bit odd with the circular overlay for the "Studio Plan" when there is two persons.
The size of the body text might be a little bit too small for my taste, but overall the typography is fine. :) Well done!
All good points... why have consistency when you can have 3 buttons with 3 totally different hover states (haha I need to make a choice, don't I). Glad you like the style though, and I'll bear in mind the font size when cracking into the upcoming feature tour and supporting pages
Beautiful. Love the MacBook and the icons :)
I think the "Try Preview for free" button is weird on hover, maybe it should react like the "Create a free account" button.
Good point Benjamin — hover states are my nemeses... I always end up staring at them for too long, trying 100 different versions, then landing on the totally wrong one :)
